Longtime esteemed community leaders and philanthropists Klara Silverstein and her daughter Lisa Silverstein Kerret were presented with the Philanthropy Award. Musician and songwriter Phoebe Snow, who sacrificed her career to devote herself to raising a severely disabled daughter, was honored with the Compassion Award; and Amanda Bilski, a teenager from Westchester who has been instrumental in developing the J-Teen Community Service Leadership Program, was presented with the Leadership Award.
