The Jewish Communal Network Commission and the Volunteer & Leadership Development Division of UJA-Federation of New York offer trustees who serve on boards of our network agencies this educational series on board leadership development three times per year.  This learning opportunity addresses the need to reinforce the roles and responsibilities of board members as they relate to the ethical, financial and general good governance of not-for-profit institutions. Agency Board Leadership University (ABLU) offers workshops on topics of best practices such as accountability and oversight, board evaluation, year-round trusteeship, and financial resource development. Trustees learn from expert speakers and presenters and work with their peers on case studies and table discussions.  The sessions are offered at UJA-Federation of New York headquarters, 130 East 59th Street, New York, NY 10022.
