See the fine arts from a modern perspective at Paul Kolker's exhibition, Einstein and Mandelbrot, and Their Footprints on the Sands of Time. Sculptor and painter Paul Kolker is a Chelsea-based artist with doctorate degrees in medicine and law. He is chief of cardiothoracic surgery at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System's Glen Cove Hospital.

Panel Speakers

Julie Gross is chief executive officer of an educational consulting firm that counsels high school students and families on college admissions. Ms. Gross earned a B.A. in psychology from Princeton University and an M.Ed. and M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Dave Marcus is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, covering higher education for Newsday. He is the author of Acceptance: A Legendary Guidance Counselor Helps Seven Kids Find the Right Colleges - And Find Themselves. Mr. Marcus is a graduate of Brown University and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University.

Frank Pomilla is the founder of an SAT-preparation company that trains 2,000 students per year. He has been honored by STAR (Success Through Academic Readiness) and Let's Get Ready for his contribution to the community. Mr. Pomilla is a graduate of Princeton University.

Kicks for Peace
Give your children the opportunity to further practice their soccer skills by kicking goals to benefit the Gould-Shenfeld Family Soccer School in Israel. The school teaches team playing and soccer skills to teenage boys who are from the Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Bedouin, and Druze communities. The Gould-Shenfeld Family Soccer School is a joint project of the Maccabi Haifa Soccer Club and UJA-Federation of New York through a capital gift of the Gould and Shenfeld families.
