The mishna tells us of not one but four new years and what each of them signify. But after many centuries, the new year for the trees was completely transformed by the Kabbalists and then again by environmentalists in the modern world. We will trace the origins in the mishna, and then over fruit and wine we will explore the symbolic meaning behind the Tu B’Shevat seder.

ASL interpreter available upon request, please contact Sivan Kerem at .
