Experts report that the current prevalence of autism spectrum disorders are at least 1 in 100, and a large portion of the diagnosed population is rapidly approaching young adulthood. How can parents, professionals, and communal organizations prepare for the needs of these individuals as they enter the adult phase of their lives? Through presentations by renowned professionals in the field, this symposium will examine the impact of emerging into young adulthood with autism.
