From meeting with government officials in Albany to discussing current issues with elected leaders in Washington, D.C., the Westchester Government Relations Committee provides upfront, hands-on learning experiences about the legislative process and opportunities to advocate for our community’s pressing needs.
Learn, Understand, and Advocate
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the legislative process.
- Learn about current issues facing UJA-Federation and its beneficiary agencies.
- Attend legislative briefings in Westchester with local members of the United States Congress and Senate.
- Participate in advocacy trips to meet with state and national officials.
- Meet with members of the New York State Senate and Assembly.
