WHITE PLAINS, NY (January 26, 2012) — Sports radio personality Chris “Mad Dog” Russo headlined UJA-Federation of New York’s Sixth Annual Westchester Sports Talk on Thursday, January 19, 2012. The event, which drew more than 160 guests, took place at the Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, in White Plains, New York.

Russo joined Sirius XM Radio in August 2008 to headline the exclusive all-sports talk channel Mad Dog Radio. On weekdays from 2 to 7 p.m., he hosts the channel’s anchor program Mad Dog Unleashed, featuring his take on the biggest sports stories around the country, as well interviews with intriguing sports figures and listener calls.

“We’ve planned a great night but, as with all or our events, we’re here to do more than have a good time: we’re here because we support UJA-Federation and its vital mission” of helping people in need, inspiring a passion for Jewish life and learning, and strengthening Jewish communities in New York, Israel, and the world, said Event Chair Ken Fuirst.

Event chairs were Dan Burton of New Rochelle, Ken Fuirst of Chappaqua, Wayne Josel of Larchmont, Steve Marlowe of Scarsdale, and David Perlmutter of Chappaqua.
