The task force has also developed a sensitivity training manual that is available to training directors at no cost. Workshops on Family Violence Detection & Prevention
UJA-Federation's Task Force on Family Violence offers free training for professionals who work in nonclinical settings. Eating Disorders Prevention Program
To address eating disorders among young Jewish girls and women, F.E.G.S. Health and Human Services System has developed a multilevel, Jewish-focused education and prevention program, with the support of the Hadassah Foundation and UJA-Federation of New York. The program uses the renowned and field-tested Full of Ourselves: Advancing Girl Power, Health & Leadership curriculum, authored by Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair and Lisa Sjostrom of McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School (formerly of the Harvard Eating Disorders Center). This intensive program builds self-esteem, increases awareness about the societal pressures on girls and women to look a certain way, teaches about a healthy diet and lifestyle, and empowers participants to have a multidimensional view of themselves.

F.E.G.S. trains UJA-Federation network agency professionals on the issue of eating disorders, including risk factors, warning signs, intervention tools, and community resources, and how to facilitate a powerful prevention program.
