Taglit-Birthright Israel – funded in part by UJA-Federation of New York – creates first-time peer-group educational trips to Israel for young Jewish adults, ages 18 to 26. Participants receive round-trip airfare (from designated cities), hotels, transportation, most meals, and other associated land costs for the trip. Gratuities, personal purchases, and travel insurance are not included.
Through these trips, participants get an insider's view of Israel – exploring vibrant cities, historical sites, and beautiful landscapes, as well as learning about Israel's diverse culture, the work of UJA-Federation overseas, and strengthening their own Jewish identity.
