Thinking Big
Your Jewish family may be larger than you think. Don't worry, they're not all coming to stay at your place.
Opening Doors — and Portals
We're hard-wired to reach out to those in need via electronic networks and all other tools at our fingertips: from Hebrew lessons for Ethiopian Jews awaiting immigration to Israel to classes in small-business development for would-be entrepreneurs in Buenos Aires and a wired think tank for young visionaries across the globe.
Laying Out the Welcome Mat
We've got immigration in our personal and collective history. As new chapters of the story are being written, we're reading between the lines to make sure newcomers to Israel and New York City have a chance to learn the language (Brooklyn accent optional) and become conversant in the culture, so when opportunity knocks, they'll be prepared to open the door according to local customs.
We do a fair amount of talking and teaching, but mostly, we're here to listen — it's the best way to celebrate new traditions.
