Travel the World
UJA-Federation's Missions department coordinates travel programs to a variety of destinations around the world. Programs are arranged to the former Soviet Union, Eastern and Western Europe, Latin America, and beyond.
Overseas Missions
By traveling to Israel and Jewish communities in other countries, we hope to:
- Educate participants about issues facing the global Jewish community through our international beneficiary agencies, The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Israel, and develop relationships between mission participants and Jews around the world
- Provide firsthand experiences for participants to see and understand where campaign dollars are spent
- Develop Jewish leaders and donors who feel a responsibility to support the Jewish community in general and the UJA-Federation campaign in particular
Your generosity touches the lives of 4.5 million people around the world. Meet them in person, and discuss our shared heritage.
