Unity & Diversity

Living by the Book
Study, dialogue, differences of opinion, and, yes, even arguments. Even when we agree, respectfully, to disagree, we value the importance of listening to each other. In fact, diverse backgrounds and a spectrum of observances are fodder for learning about Jewish history, practice, and innovation.

Reading Between the Lines
From a classroom of toddlers sounding out Hebrew songs in Scarsdale to a text-study session for adults in Oceanside, Long Island, we’re proud to open the door to a world of learning and asking questions. The results include intimate explorations of the land, history, and culture of Israel and of ourselves, as a people and as individuals.

Erik Levis and other birthright israel alumni speak about their first encounters with the Holy Land.
