Westchester Adds to Campaign Record With "Unprecedented" 13% Increase
UJA-Federation of New York raised a record-setting $290 million, a philanthropic first for the organization and a milestone among community-based charities. These donations included $151 million for its annual campaign, an increase of approximately $6 million from the previous year. The campaign figures are calculated on a fiscal year, from July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007.
Westchester, one of the eight counties that constitutes the New York organization, contributed $15.8 million to the final figure.
