Wiener Educational Center
The Wiener Educational Center strengthens Jewish communities by fostering professional excellence in individuals, institutions, and systems. We provide short- and long-term professional development programs, scholarships, and consultations, including:
- Ongoing professional education and training programs for professionals working in Jewish communal agencies, synagogues, and other Jewish non-profit organizations.
- Scholarships, fellowships, and internships for study and work experience leading to careers at UJA-Federation, its network of agencies, and synagogues.
- High-Impact Strategies for the Experienced Manager, an eight-day intensive, fast-paced professional development program focused on leadership, strategic thinking, and managing teams.
The values that define our work are the inherent potential of each individual for growth and development, a commitment to excellence and continuous learning, and a sense of responsibility for caring for each other. We're committed to strengthening the Jewish community and the knowledge and systems that support it by creating an environment that allows for experimentation, risk taking, and innovation for the greater good
The Wiener Center was established in 1969 through the William E. Wiener and Charles and Rosanna Bachelor endowment funds.
