Women's Philanthropy Volunteer in Wake of Sandy

On November 6, 2012, members of UJA-Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy came to the aid of Council of Jewish Émigré Community Organizations (COJECO) to help with badly needed supplies in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

UJA-Federation of New York’s Women’s Philanthropy brings together women from across New York to maximize their collective power and make a profound impact on the future of our community.

Collective Power Making an Impact

As the center of Jewish women’s philanthropy in the New York area, more than 28,000 women use their combined talent, energy, and financial clout to inspire and educate, and transform the lives of people in need. From new mothers to grandmothers, from lawyers to bankers to advertising execs, here’s your place to get involved and make a difference.

Women’s Philanthropy can be a meaningful part of your life. Learn about what we do in Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester, and New York's boroughs.

Meet like-minded professionals, and learn how you can make a difference in our community through Professional Women’s Philanthropy, join more than 1,200 women in the New York Jewish community recognized as Lions of Judah, or create an planned gift to give a gift that will live on in perpetuity.

Ruby Circle

The Ruby Circle recognizes the generosity of women who contribute $10,000 or more to UJA-Federation's annual campaign. Ruby Circle members are invited to be part of special local, national, and international missions. The Circle traveled to Argentina and met members of the Jewish community there.

Sapphire Society

UJA-Federation of New York’s Women’s Philanthropy Sapphire Society recognizes the generosity of women contributing $18,000 or more to UJA-Federation's annual campaign. Members of the Sapphire Society attend exclusive events throughout the year including art studio tours and exclusive showings at museums and galleries.
