Young Adult Programs in Israel
Israel programs for young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 require a two-week minimum and must be approved by UJA-Federation. Young adult applicants are eligible for need-based financial assistance scholarships only.
What types of scholarships are available?
Need-based financial assistance scholarships are available based on individual level of need as determined by your Israel program provider.
To apply for a need-based scholarship for an approved young adult travel program, please contact your Israel program provider. The provider must request the scholarship on the applicant’s behalf. The provider will lead you through the process, which includes basic contact and background information and determining your level of need. Applicants cannot apply directly to the Israel Experience Center.
Outside of UJA-Federation, we encourage you to contact MASA Israel, who provide scholarships and connections to short- and long-term Israel programs for Jewish young adults.
Please be aware, UJA-Federation of New York is unable to provide financial assistance for gap year and long-term programs in Israel, such as university programs, post-high school gap year programs, and yeshivot/seminary learning programs.
