Glenn Cohen, hostage debrief team leader and former Mossad chief psychologist, was born and raised in New York City. He moved to Israel after high school and served for over 30 years as an Air Force pilot, Mossad officer, special forces psychologist, and IDF hostage negotiator.

Since retiring with the Israeli equivalent rank of colonel, Glenn has trained top business and military brass with the five "E.L.I.T.E." keys to resilience and peak performance that he pioneered during his tenure in the Mossad.

After October 7, Glenn served over four months in emergency reserve duty in the IDF Hostage Negotiation Unit, where he was selected to be the first mental health professional to meet the released hostages upon their return to Israel. Subsequently, he wrote the protocol for recovering the returned hostages and now leads a team of psychologists who have debriefed the 117 hostages so far and are prepared to receive the remaining hostages upon their release.

Glenn shares the unique, behind-the-scenes perspective of the hostage situation, including what the hostages have endured, as well as their coping mechanisms, which are an inspiration for us all, especially during these trying times.
