We’ll pay tribute to Doug’s professional and philanthropic leadership and dedication as we present him with this year’s Pillar of the Community Award. We’ll also amplify UJA’s vital work meeting the moment: fighting antisemitism, securing our Jewish institutions, helping Israel move forward, and uplifting struggling New Yorkers.

Doug Braunstein is vice chairman of Wells Fargo. A 40-year Wall Street veteran, Doug is focused on expanding Wells Fargo’s corporate finance and advisory businesses as well as advising its senior management.  

Over the course of his career, Doug has been a strategic advisor to numerous boards and management teams and has been involved in nearly $1 trillion in transactions. Doug spent close to two decades at JPMorgan Chase where he held leadership roles including CFO and vice chairman as well as head of Americas Investment Banking, Global M&A, and Industry Coverage.
