Join our winter Beyond the Book session with Ellen Witchell, where we’ll explore The Postcard, by Anne Berest — a powerful story sparked by a mysterious postcard that arrives at the Berest family home and lists family members who were killed at Auschwitz. As the author and narrator tries to discover who sent the postcard and why, her family’s moving saga of trauma and triumph unfolds. 

You’ll also hear about UJA’s ongoing critical work, as we fight antisemitism, secure our Jewish institutions, uplift New Yorkers in need, and help Israel recover and rebuild.
