Created and Conducted by Maestro Murry Sidlin
Narrated by Bebe Neuwirth
Pre-Concert Dinner Honoring Ulrika & Joel Citron With the Ernest W. Michel Memorial Award for Commitment to Holocaust Survivors
Hear the music of 15 composers imprisoned in Terezín during the Holocaust. Aware that deportations were a constant reality, these young and gifted artists created new music as an affirmation of the future. For many of them, it would be their last work. Now, we have the opportunity to ensure that their music has not perished with them.
This concert has been underwritten by Shelley and Steven Einhorn and Jewish Communal Fund. Thanks to their generosity all event proceeds will benefit UJA-Federation’s Community Initiative for Holocaust Survivors (CIHS).
Dinner: 5:30 pm · JW Marriott Essex House, 160 Central Park South, New York City
