Join J-Teen Leadership on an educational journey to New Orleans. We’ll meet the NOLA Jewish community, help areas still recovering from Hurricanes Katrina and Ida and explore the city's vibrant and historic French Quarter, the historic Lower Ninth Ward, and much more!!
Additional highlights include:
- A hands-on volunteer opportunity at SBP, a national disaster recovery organization
- A visit to Touro Synagogue to meet with their teens
- Havdalah at Tulane Hillel
- A visit to the Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience
- A tour of The National World War II Museum
- An outing to New Orleans City Park
Community service hours eligible.
Thursday evening departure; flight times are subject to change based on availability.
Cost includes transportation within New Orleans, hotel accommodations, entrance fees to events, and most meals and snacks (does not include airline tickets, personal spending money, or food at airport)
