As we welcome a return to greater normalcy and a collective feeling of hope for the future, join us for an event with UJA families in the Hamptons to pack backpacks with school supplies for children in need. UJA is proud to work in conjunction with Supplies for Success, an important partner in our network of nonprofits, to ensure that each child has the tools to succeed in the classroom.
These backpacks, filled with basic supplies like pencils, binders, and notebooks, will help children from underserved communities have their best shot at academic success in the coming year.
In this outdoor, family-friendly volunteer event, you’ll model your values for your children as you spend a beautiful summer afternoon engaged in meaningful work through UJA. Pizza and snacks will be served.
A donation of $25 will fill one backpack. Please purchase as many as you can.
Attendance at this event is limited to individuals who have completed the Covid-19 vaccination series at least 14 days prior to the date of the event. Proof of vaccination will be required for admittance. Individuals may provide proof via paper form, the NYS Excelsior Pass, or other mobile app. This event will be held in accordance with all applicable law and regulations, including state, local and CDC guidelines, to protect the health and welfare of our staff and guests.
