Please join us for a conversation with one of Israel’s finest novelists, A. B. Yehoshua, on the occasion of the publication of his latest and masterful novel, The Tunnel. He will be joined by translator Stuart Schoffman and the program will be moderated by Jewish Week culture editor Sandee Brawarsky.
The Tunnel was recently named an Editor’s Choice in The New York Times Book Review.
A.B. Yehoshua is the author of many novels, including Mr. Mani and A Woman in Jerusalem. His work has been translated into 28 languages and adapted for film and opera. He has received the Israel Prize, the National Jewish Book Award, and the Prix Médicis Étranger, among other honors. He lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Stuart Schoffman, journalist, screenwriter, educator, and translator, is a native New Yorker who has lived in Jerusalem since 1988. Among his many translations are four novels by A. B. Yehoshua.
