Protect Students.

Enforce Title VI Now.

As college campuses grow more diverse, schools must be ready to respond to racism, antisemitism, xenophobia, and harassment when it occurs. That’s where the Title VI Coordinator Bill comes in.

The bill [S.4559-A/A.5448-A] would require every public and private college in New York to appoint a Title VI coordinator — a trained professional to protect students from hate stemming from race, color, or origin. A Title VI coordinator would investigate complaints, lead anti-bias training, and ensure students know their rights.

With antisemitism surging, especially on college campuses, this bill is not just timely. It’s more critical than ever.

Urge your representatives to pass this bill and help ensure that New York’s college campuses are places of learning, not hate.
