As the Twin Cities continue clean-up efforts of the over 500 damaged business, and access to food and supplies has been disrupted for thousands of residents, Nechama: Jewish Response to Disaster is working to relief the community’s needs.
Nechama’s efforts so far have included delivering food to multiple community pop-up and established food banks in Minneapolis and St. Paul, assisting community food banks cleaning, organizing, and distributing food and supplies, and clearing debris/disinfecting local minority and women-owned businesses.
You can donate needed supplies to local distribution centers by purchasing items from their Amazon Wishlist. All items will be distributed to residents in neighborhoods impacted by closed businesses.
