Connections
Connections, a program of UJA-Federation on Long Island, is dedicated to providing young Jewish families with the resources and opportunities to strengthen their Jewish connections and ensure the Jewish identity of their children.
Activities and Action
Connections events are never dull. Our programs are about doing, discussing, and demonstrating our commitments.
- Mitzvah opportunities mean that parents and their children learn together the essential role of tikkun olam, repairing the world, and tzedakah, charity.
- Morning discussions and coffee sessions gather women from across Long Island to explore ways to infuse Judaism into their family life and into their own lives.
- Family programs bring together fathers, mothers, and their children with other families to enjoy a Shabbat dinner or havdalah program.
