Join UJA and The Community Synagogue for the Long Island book launch of Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew. New York Times best-selling authors Noa Tishby and Emmanuel Acho will have a frank conversation, moderated by Stephanie Butnick, co-host of the podcast Unorthodox, about sensitive topics like Jewish stereotypes, power dynamics, and the nature of Judaism, providing clear insights into the roots of Jewish hatred in America. With Noa’s Israeli-American background and Emmanuel's Nigerian-American heritage, they offer differing  perspectives to make complex ideas accessible.

You’ll also learn more about UJA’s powerful work confronting rising antisemitism and meeting ongoing needs in Israel.

You can submit a question in advance, and we’ll do our best to answer as many as possible.
