Create Your Own Hat and Glove Drive
Project Date: Present – Sunday, January 1, 2012.
Help F•E•G•S Health and Human Services System by organizing a drive to collect hats, gloves, and other warm accessories for people with hearing and vision disabilities. All of the items will go to the residents of Tanya Towers, one of F•E•G•S' housing programs for people with special needs.

Create Your Own Beauty and Cosmetics Drive
Project Dates: Present – Sunday, January 1, 2012.
Help F•E•G•S Health and Human Services System by creating a drive to collect cosmetics and other beauty products for people with hearing and vision disabilities. All of the items will go to the residents of Tanya Towers, one of F•E•G•S’ housing programs for people with special needs.

Help Organize Senior Holiday Party
Project Date: Friday, December 16, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging needs volunteers to help organize its annual holiday party at its Cooper Square Senior Residence in Manhattan. Volunteers will help serve meals, clean up, and perform other tasks.

Volunteer for Annual Chanukah Event
Project Date: Sunday, December 18, 2011, from 9:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Every year, Kings Bay YM-YWHA in Brooklyn organizes a Chanukah celebration for local residents. The Kings Bay Y needs volunteers to help decorate, participate in arts-and-crafts projects for children, distribute programs, and greet guests.

Project Date: Tuesday, December 20, 2011, from 9:00 a.m – 3:30 p.m.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging needs volunteers to help staff its annual holiday party at its Mill Basin Senior Center in Brooklyn. Volunteers will help serve meals, clean up, and perform other tasks.

Project Date: Thursday, December 22, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging needs volunteers to help organize its Chanukah concert and luncheon at the facility’s Van Cortlandt Senior Center in the Bronx. Volunteers will serve meals, clean up, and perform other tasks.

Assist Seniors at Nursing Home
Project Date: Sunday, December 25, 2011, from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Commack needs volunteers to escort frail elderly residents from their rooms to the facility’s Rainbow Room to enjoy musical entertainment on Christmas.

Volunteer for Senior Bingo Game
Project Date: Sunday, December 25, 2011, from 9:45 a.m.– 12:00 noon.
Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Commack needs volunteers to help elderly residents play Bingo on Christmas morning.

Volunteer for Senior Holiday Party
Project Date: Friday, December 23, 2011, from 11:00 a.m.– 1:30 p.m.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging needs volunteers to help staff its annual December holiday luncheon at the Coney Island Active Aging NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Community). Volunteers will help serve meals, clean up, and perform other tasks.

Help Organize Senior Chanukah Dinner
Project Date: Sunday, December 25, 2011, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The Bronx Jewish Community Council needs volunteers to help set tables and serve meals to 100 Bronx seniors at its 10th annual Chanukah dinner.

Project Date: Wednesday, December 28, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging needs volunteers to help organize its holiday party at its Long Beach Senior Center. Volunteers will help serve meals, clean up, and perform other tasks for this special "safari" gala.
