The Philanthropic Leadership Group (PLG) represents the ultimate expression of giving. Through PLG, prominent donors in our community are setting a standard of generosity that will shape our efforts for generations to come.
The Philanthropic Leadership Group’s annual Campaign Launch Event is renowned in philanthropic circles — and the essential beginning to each campaign year’s fundraising efforts. The event is held in a private home, and each guest’s minimum contribution is $125,000 to the annual campaign. The October 23, 2012 event raised $45 million in support of social, educational, and humanitarian services in New York, in Israel, and around the world.
In recognizing these most generous donors, PLG offers exclusive events and customized missions, both domestic and overseas, and the opportunity to meet other like-minded individuals from the New York Jewish community and from around the country. Each one of our groups — International Leadership Reunion (ILR), the Prime Minister’s Council, and the King David Society — offers many opportunities to become involved and engaged throughout the year.
International Leadership Reunion participants set a standard of generosity for future generations. Members of this group contribute a minimum annual gift of $250,000, and gather from around the world to meet old and new friends, while experiencing the highest caliber of speakers, tours, and events.
Executive for a Day is a one-day program that takes place each year, inviting select donors and lay leaders to shadow senior professionals at UJA-Federation beneficiary agencies for a hands-on experience.
