David Wasserman is a co-founder and managing partner of Recognize, a New York-based investment firm. He has spent 30 years as a private equity investor, including over 20 years at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, where he served on the firm’s Investment Committee and Management Committee and led the firm’s technology and services vertical. Prior to joining CD&R, David worked at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area. He is an active fundraiser, investor, and business builder. David has served on the board of directors of over 20 public and private companies.

UJA Westchester Regional Chair

Laurie Girsky is the UJA Westchester Regional Chair and the past chair of UJA Women. A longtime UJA leader, she was an original member of Neshamot Impact Philanthropy Fund and was instrumental in the expansion and success of UJA’s J-Teen Leadership. Professionally, Laurie is a founding partner of G-Squared Advisory, a fee-only financial planning firm, where she has worked for over 15 years.  

Laurie has a B.A. from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, and a certificate in financial planning from NYU.
