Join us for our annual FSU kickoff event and hear from Maya Izoutcheev, a Nova Festival survivor, about her harrowing experience escaping the Hamas attacks and how it’s transformed her life since.

We’ll also hear from our partner agencies about their response to surging antisemitism and increased hunger and poverty as we discover UJA’s most pressing priorities in the year ahead.

Just before Thanksgiving, come together over food and drinks and give thanks for the incredible community we’ve cultivated through our shared values and heritage.

Maya Izoutcheev

Nova Festival Survivor

Maya Izoutcheev, 30, was working as a bouncer at the Nova Festival on October 7th and escaped by running for more than four hours and over 20 km through a war zone of nonstop bombing, bullets, and burning. Maya has been sharing her story, and the stories of many others that were silenced forever that day, ever since.
