We appreciate your commitment to UJA-Federation and invite you to a unique tasting experience for our Long Island Lions, featuring award-winning writer, chef, and storyteller Beejhy Barhany.

Beejhy will share her inspiring journey as an Ethiopian Jewish immigrant — from Ethiopia to Sudan, Israel, and New York — and how each chapter shaped her voice as both a chef and an activist. Her story reflects our Jewish resilience, identity, and the rich diversity within our global community.

Alongside her storytelling, we’ll experience a taste of Beejhy’s flavorful, heritage-inspired cuisine and learn how UJA continues to support Israel, combat antisemitism, and uplift New Yorkers in need.

Space is limited. Please register by Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

There is no charge to attend this event.

This event welcomes women who give a gift of $6,000 or more, individually or as a family, to the 2026 Annual Campaign.
