Join UJA Scarsdale Women at the Jewish Museum for a private tour of Anish Kapoor: Early Works, guided by the museum’s chief curator. Discover Kapoor’s rarely seen pigment sculptures from the 1970s and 1980s in this landmark exhibition. Influenced by his Hindu-Jewish heritage, time in Israel, and deep fascination with ritual and materiality, Kapoor created works that probe themes of origin, transformation, and the concept of the “void.”
We’ll also explore other exhibits in the newly renovated museum after our tour and learn about UJA’s powerful work helping people in need in New York, in Israel, and around the world.
