UJA’s Third Generation Holocaust Survivors & Supporters Group brings you a timely screening of Keep Quiet, a biographical film about Hungarian politician Csanád Szegedi. With his Nationalist ideology, Szegedi amassed a following of antisemites and radicals only to find out that he was Jewish and his grandmother was a survivor of Auschwitz. The film will explore antisemitism and take you on a journey to learn what it means to forgive and reconcile. Producer Alex Holder will participate in a Q&A following the film.

You’ll also learn about UJA’s ongoing work in caring for Holocaust survivors, and how we’re working with our partners to confront escalating antisemitism and secure our communities.

Light bites and refreshments will be served. Dietary laws observed.
