Join us for a panel on how antisemitism in America is affecting the LGBTQ+ community. UJA Past President Jeff Schoenfeld will lead a discussion about the unique and frightening time we’re in, with antisemitism on the rise around the country and New York City hate crimes against Jews up more than 100% from last year.
We’ll also learn how to respond to antisemitism and anti-Zionism in the LGBTQ+ community in real time and share talking points about some of the biggest misconceptions about Israel and Jewish people today. With many in our community taking a stance in the anti-Israel protest movement, it can sometimes feel like we're caught between two worlds.
Additionally, we’ll recognize UJA’s powerful work responding to the ongoing war in Israel and helping New Yorkers of all backgrounds here at home.
Kosher refreshments will be served.
