  • Giving From Foundations: Funding from both professionally staffed and family foundations is critical to UJA-Federation’s annual operations, accounting for more than $20 million of our 2022 campaign. If you are on the board of a foundation or help foundations plan their funding initiatives, we welcome the opportunity to discuss a gift to UJA at this critical moment. Foundation giving can be made to UJA in these ways:

    • Targeted Projects (Naming Opportunities)


Make an Impact Now and Later:

  • Donor Advised Fund: Make a difference today by donating funds that have already been set aside for charity from your Donor Advised Fund. You can also help secure our future by naming UJA as a beneficiary of your Donor Advised Fund.

  • IRA: If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can provide immediate funds by making a charitable contribution directly from your IRA to UJA. You can also name UJA as the beneficiary of your IRA or other retirement plan to ensure UJA is always there in the future to respond to crises.

  • Create an Endowment: With a minimum gift of $100,000, you can create an endowment fund that will support UJA’s annual campaign in perpetuity. Endowments can be established through an immediate outright gift or an estate plan.
