Prior to joining Wells, Sol spent 20 years at J.P. Morgan. He started his career with Republic National Bank of New York.

Sol is a graduate of the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He serves on the board of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and the United Negro College Fund New York Leadership Council.

Sol was born in Brooklyn, New York and is proud to still reside there, with his wife Celia and three children Arlette, Susan and James.
