The Daniel S. Och Award
Josh Baumgarten is the president and chief investment officer of Beach Point Capital Management. Bringing over 25 years of experience in credit and alternative investments, Mr. Baumgarten is responsible for developing and executing Beach Point’s corporate and investment strategy in partnership with the senior leadership team. Prior to Beach Point, he served as co-managing partner and head of Credit at TPG Angelo Gordon, where he served on TPG’s Board of Directors and oversaw all facets of the firm’s global credit platform.
