Reception • 6:30 pm

Program • 7:00 pm

Join UJA Women as we kick off the 2027 Annual Campaign with the Ruthann Eckstein, z"l, Memorial Author Series. This year we’ll hear from Anna Quindlen, the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and best-selling author of the recently released More Than Enough, whose work explores the themes of family, identity, and the ways we navigate life’s transitions.

As we mark the tenth anniversary of Ruthann’s passing, Anna Quindlen's participation is especially meaningful. Both women graduated from Barnard College, earned journalism degrees, and entered the profession a few years apart. Ruthann was an admirer of Quindlen's writing and her insights into the human experience, making this conversation a fitting tribute to Ruthann’s memory.

You’ll also hear more about UJA’s vital work meeting the moment in New York, in Israel, and around the world as we look to the campaign year ahead.

The Ruthann Eckstein, z"l, Memorial Author Series honors the life of Ruthann, whose passion for literature, Israel, and UJA knew no bounds. UJA is grateful to the Eckstein family for underwriting this program and for its continued support of UJA's mission to improve the lives of those in need around the world.

Each attendee will receive a signed copy of Anna Quindlen’s book More Than Enough.
