The Afya Foundation collects unused medical supplies and equipment from throughout the New York metro area and gives them a second life.

Come help sort through donated consumable, personal care, surgical, and medical supplies. Afya has a 15,000-square-foot warehouse in Yonkers, New York, where volunteers help sort and organize donated items to be shipped to medically underserved communities,  locally and overseas. These critical medical supplies and equipment aid  countries devastated by natural disasters and humanitarian crises. Much of the current focus is on Israel and Ukraine,  and these supplies will help support Afya's long-term programs to address chronic health disparities there and around the world.

Volunteers are able to come to the warehouse:

• Mondays – Thursdays, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Fridays, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
