Hela, 94, who was sent to a concentration camp as a young teen, now lives in Brooklyn. We helped make sure she got her vaccine.

As vaccines first rolled out earlier this year, we worked to get New Yorkers – especially Holocaust survivors, the elderly, essential workers, and low-income communities — the resources they needed to get their shots. Our support helped with access to appointments and offered vaccine education to those who were hesitant, so they could make informed decisions.
With the Delta variant now bringing new risks, we’ll continue to offer resources to help New Yorkers stay safe. We’re working to respond to new requirements in the changing landscape and continuing to provide accurate vaccine information from trusted sources.
With each day, we’re doing our part to get New York to the other side: beating Covid and getting back on track.
