Join UJA Rivertowns Women for an evening of creativity and connection as we celebrate Jewish identity through art. Artist Sara Joy will personalize an 8x10 canvas featuring your chosen colors, Judaica symbols, and meaningful phrases. Express your own vibrant vision of Jewish joy—and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your story and spirit.

All are welcome—no artistic experience needed, just a love of community and creativity!

We’ll also hear about UJA’s work helping Israel heal and rebuild, fighting antisemitism, and uplifting New Yorkers in need.

Sara Joy is a creative brand that brings intentional joy through playful community murals and whimsical paintings. The Simcha Series is Sara’s Judaica collection: pieces that tell our stories, honor our traditions, and celebrate generations. Following the October 7 attacks on Israel, Sara began painting Judaica as her way to move through anxiety and fears as antisemitism worldwide grew.

The collection started out as an expression of fear and turned into a celebration and pride of being Jewish.  Follow Sara@shopsarajoy on Instagram for colorful, creative, behind-the-scenes art-making, or check out her site, shopsarajoy.com, for the current gallery viewing
