Stand Together: Show Up

Together with the American Jewish Committee (AJC), we invite you to #ShowUpForShabbat to commemorate the deadly and devastating shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh one year ago. From Friday night, October 25, through Saturday, October 26, synagogues across the country will participate in this display of solidarity. Please join us as we stand shoulder to shoulder with Jews and non-Jews alike, demonstrating to the world that we will not be driven by fear.

Join a Day of Action Against Anti-Semitism and a memorial event for the victims of the Tree of Life shooting. We’re partnering with AJC New York, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC), and Central Synagogue to combat the rise of anti-Semitic crimes right here on the streets of New York City. Combat hate through acts of love for your neighbors. In partnership with the East Nassau Network, UJA invites you to join in the preparation of 84,000 meals to be distributed to local food pantries (LI Cares, Island Harvest, agency pantries, Hillels, etc.).
