YESH, which means “Hooray!” and “We’ve got this” in colloquial Hebrew is an exciting, fresh, and multilayered way to build up early career professionals and also strengthen the Jewish nonprofit sector.

Early Career Professionals have a tremendous amount of potential and a tremendous amount to learn. They are found across the sector in organizations large and small, from synagogues to startups, planting roots in the Jewish nonprofit world.

UJA, through a generous grant from the Jim Joseph Foundation, is offering YESH Institute for Newish Jewish Professionals. Now in its second year, this cohort program will help to educate professionals that have been working in the Jewish nonprofit sector for 2-4 years.

Through YESH Institute, participants will:

  • Build understanding of, and a professional network within, the Jewish nonprofit sector.
  • Engage in innovative learning seminars that will help them develop professional skills.
  • Plot out their career trajectories within the Jewish nonprofit sector.
